America’s largest hat museum, located in the Ladd-Reingold House, houses a carefully chosen collection of hats depicting the most characteristic styles of past eras. The collection includes hats from such well-known designers as Lilly Dache, Stetson, Christian Dior and Oleg Cassini.

The museum, directed by Alyce Cornyn-Selby (shown center in hat) also houses a gift shop that sells hats and  hat decorating items like scarves, pins, feathers and "hat scrunchies".

The Rex House

The Portland Branch toured the R.E.X. House - Reuse Everything eXperiment (2030 SE Rex St.) which was built without a dumpster and using every piece of the demolished 1920 house on the same site.
